The First draft of book 2 is done and it clocks in at 126k words which tracks with book 1 at 125k. To celebrate I’m releasing an extra chapter today to everyone who subscribes!
This week, I didn’t even touch book 1, but I’ve received feedback from my editor on the first five chapters of the book. So that’s on the list this week.
Book 3 is moving right along and I so freaking want to talk about the chapter I just drafted. It’s a major point in the story and sets the stage for the next couple of books.
Last week didn’t go as nicely as I wanted since I got sick on Thursday and didn’t get anything writing-related done all day. It reminds me of why I keep a great backlog of chapters - that and vacations. I can’t forget conventions either - I will be at Norwescon and Worldcon this year, so I need to factor in time for both of those events. I’m also looking at LitRPG con in Denver but I haven’t booked anything for it. So we will see!
