Unreal Engine 5 - Weapon Inventory UI (ALS #143 )

Today, we are going to continue with the weapon inventory UI widget. Here, we will look into how to change the 3D weapon mesh that rotate in the UI widget when we click and select a different weapon to view details. So we will be able to see a 3d rendering of the selected weapon on the right side of the UI.

Hey there, are you done with the shooter project? If not, what Do you plan to add?

I see you used the select mode with the gun type. That solves the problem for me with the lag. But can you get the gun to rotate when paused.

Also can the gun still rotate if the game is paused

I had made a inventory ususimg render targets for the guns but when I got up to about 10 guns. The game frame rate was slowed down. I had to use weapon images instead. Does the render target need to be present on the level map to work?
