Mobile Layout (Work in Progress)
Added 2023-03-14 04:13:08 +0000 UTCI thought it would be done releasing a first pass of these new layouts before March. Boy was I wrong: what I didn't anticipate was the technical challenge. I know CSS well enough, but that's not what I mean. This is the mockup my designer gave me:
See how the buttons are in a separate box from the text (beige background)? Well, I saw two ways to do that:
- Find every button in the game and modify it to put it in a group, then remember to the same thing every time I write content in the future.
- Find a way to automate the process so I don't have to think about wrapping buttons in code when I write content.
I chose the latter, and while I stand by it being the right decision, it took a lot of time and effort.
I'm crossing my fingers, but I think it's all downhill from here. This new layout (with improvements) should be released in a few days. Thanks for your patience!
