I love this new scene, but I'm sorry to say it's going to take a few more days.
Added 2022-02-14 16:14:40 +0000 UTCI'm really sorry everyone. I wanted so bad to release this yesterday, but I couldn't make it happen. I stayed up all night trying to get it across the finish line, but I love the premise of this mimic girl so much, I kept having idea after idea. Every step forward moved the goalposts a step back. It's one of those "time flies" situations.
It's 95% edited. Honestly, I think it only needs one more hour of work, then the scene will be finished. Full disclosure:
- When I say scene, I mean the written content. This is the hardest part, but it still takes time to port it to the game and colorcode the dialog.
- My family is visiting for a couple of days, so I may not have time to work on the game until Wednesday. I'd kinda like to spend a lot of my time with them while they are here, ya know?
- Now mind you, I am not the original author of this scene. That would be Velveteen Lich. They came up with the premise, too. I'm merely the editor, but man, I've been editing my butt off. Thanks to their ideas, I've probably doubled or even tripled the original.
