Weekly devlog! Getting close!

Hello all!  I'm just about ready to make a public release.  I considered it doing yesterday, but then I realized there are a bunch of really important things I should do first.  For example, coming up with some goals on my Patreon page and putting final touches on the graphics.  I'm considering a Labor Day (Monday) public release, but that could be a really bad idea.  I'd like to know your thoughts.

Also, to be honest, I have no idea what goals would be interesting to have.  I'll probably be checking around on other Patreon pages to get some ideas, but if you can think of any that you'd find interesting, please let me know.  I may use them!

Oh, BTW, I am not hoarding the game.  By that I mean that anyone (pledge or not) can play it in its current state.  You just have to ask.  The above only refers to the public release.  I'm not yet ready to put a link to the game on my front page.

Anywayzies, here's this weeks backlog:

• Bug: Logs aren't showing up in log files - Ugh, this one was so annoying.  Let me spin a little yarn for ya'll.  My game has had a bug for months that I've known about and I've always wanted to fix, but I could never reproduce it on my own.  It happens to about 10% of the people who play the game.  So someone finally experienced the bug and sent me their logs.  I was so excited to finally get to squash this thing, but when I opened the logs up, they were effectively empty.  Turns out, I had to check a box in Unity to get all the logs.  In my opinion, this box should be checked by default.  That means the logs couldn't help me fix the bug :(  After working on this feature, I at least have a chance of fixing it next time.
• Replace all backgrounds with 16:9 aspect ratio versions - I screwed up really, really bad when talking to my background artist for the first time.  I told her, "Make the backgrounds really high resolution, like 4000x3000 or something."  I said that in passing.  Fast forward a few months... I thought I told her to give me 16:9 aspect ratio pictures... Nope.  All the backgrounds (4) were 4000x3000.  Fortunately, she didn't hate me for my mistake and already fixed it for me!  She's the best!
• Use the shower art - Put the new shower background into the game.
• Save the current build that I've sent out so that I can send it to the library dev for troubleshooting - This was more of a personal note: I made a new release and wanted to make sure I saved it somewhere so if someone experiences the bug again, I could give it to the developer of my library and ask him for help on the exact version that has the bug.
• Use the new UI for the dialogue responses and window - Ooh, this is worth showing.  I added some new UI elements to the game.  I'd like to hear what you think:

• The dialog window only shows when you've said something (i.e., not when you have to make a choice and haven't said anything yet.)
• Made response button choices smaller - The buttons at the top of the previous picture were twice as tall as they are now and it looked weird to me.  To my surprise, it took a while to figure out how to fix that.  
• Rearrange Eva's conversations so they're easier to maintain
• There is now a blinking "x" cursor when text is completed
• Use the new "continue" cursor when text is done - You can see the cursor in the picture.  It blinks :)
• Add logging to help troubleshoot the crop collecting bug - I added additional logging to the game to help me figure out what's causing the bug I mentioned in the first bullet point.
• Put crop collecting into a Lua function so it isn't skipped when a sequence crashes - After figuring out how to output useful logs, someone did send me a log file I could use.  I sent it to the developer of the library and neither of us could figure out why it's happening.  For some reason, facial expression changes stop working for 10% of people who play the game.  This was preventing the player from collecting crops because when they tried, Eva would attempt to smile, it would error, and it wouldn't run the code to collect the crops.  As a result,  you couldn't collect crops anymore and could not progress in the game.  Although I haven't figured out what's causing this yet, I believe I've implemented a workaround that will allow people to collect crops after this bug occurs to them.
• Update the readme file to explain how to get to Mia's lewd scene
• Add the eyes open small kiss picture in the lewd scene
• Use the eyes open small kiss picture in the lewd scene
• Bug: The blurry background doesn't stretch across the whole scene
