For the awesome water update of Seus ptgi, I wanted to create stuff that goes well with water.  Also, some of you  recommended that I should use the "ctm overlay" feature.
That's why the "main - block" of this update is the sand, obviously.  Took quite some time, especially because I'm very new to Minecraft Texturing, I'm still learning.

All changes:

Important:

How I created the sand textures:
I sculpted the pattern in a bowl of fine dirt (with my fingers, haha), and then I Normal-Scanned it, edited in Photoshop/Blender and made 2 main pattern textures, which get randomised by the blockstate file. (Minimizes pattern visibility)
The overlays onto other blocks are using the optifine ctm overlay method.

The sand (+red_sand) textures consist of over 100 indivual texture files (Diffuse/_n/_s)
This is also noticeable when comparing the file size of R7 and R8:   48 vs 132 (MB)

In the past 2 weeks I learned some techniques on how to get proper normal maps from real life objects/materials (no auto generated normal maps from materialize/CrazyBump,   no photoscanning)

Next update:  I think I have some great ideas for some shiny blocks, not sure if they turn out well. (Gold, Iron, maybe diamond)   But I'll go with whatever I really want to work on. I'd  like to create more blocks that are quite complex and time consuming (like the sand).
I really need to remind myself to make every block something special.

Next update in about 2 weeks.

Hope you like it!

Hello, a question, It looks bad plants in minecraft, how can I fix it?

I've had 20Gb allocated, It seems to be working better with R9 now though and extracting it helped.

Teplous

Have you allocated more Ram to minecraft? For any high resolution textures with PBR you need quite a lot of Ram. I suggest ~6GB of RAM currently. (Standard is 1GB)

umsoea

so my game crashes whenever i use this texture pack, it usually does so without warning and without crash logs

Link Download?¿

yes, should be working.

What use create modern house ?

Excuse me, does this support game version 1.14.4?

No, just too many useless blocks where it's not worth to spend time on. There are already other great packs out there, just mix them.

umsoea

Also there is a bug, that overlays onto grass are not working in some cases so I didnt do this for now.

umsoea

I defined only the most important blocks. You can add more block in the sand.properties file in the folder: assets/minecraft/optifine/ctm/sand just add whatever ID to the list.

I got it,the sand does work, just dont work on some blocks like dirt......

So UMSOEA i need help seus shaders dont effect my game and make it look 3d please respawnd to me

when to continue?

It should work. I tested 1.14.4 and sand seemed to work. Have you turned on Connected Textures in the settings for this version?

umsoea

Is this work only for 1.13 below or it can work with 1.14?I tried this on 1.14.4 but sand just wont work, but on 1.13.2 everything is normal.I did set connect texture to fancy.

will there ever be a texture pack for every texture in the game or just a few blocks?
