Added 2023-07-14 11:01:00 +0000 UTCHello patrons, Ray here. Hot on the heels of our... let's say, experimental bonus show Gold in 16 Seconds, I'm here to announce our follow-up series, called A Game Site About Nothing: The Crunk Games Podcast! 
Whereas "Gold" was about a moment in 2003 that Alex and I remembered well, it was actually a packed year, involving the maintaining of our own video game media site thing, Crunk Games. It was a place where we infrequently posted game coverage in the way only two 20 year-olds who thought they were funny could. But as you'll see, and as you probably know from us, talking about a website is not just talking about a website, and there were plenty of ups and downs in between.
You can expect a number of episodes approaching "Gold," so we'll be here for a little while. Kicking off the series will be a two-episode "prologue" to set the backdrop for the story: the nascent world of game fansites, and the fateful meeting of Alex and I via a six-month stint at Gaming Intelligence Agency. These prologue eps will be free previews for everyone, while the rest will be exclusively available to $5 Golder Subscribers.
Look for it beginning in August!
