I need your thoughts/opinions.
Added 2024-07-10 19:04:12 +0000 UTCA Chronicle of Lies book 1 only has 57 chapters. We are well past the half way point, and I'm thinking about the future of this patreon.
I have started on book 2, but progress is slow. I'm not a quick writer and this isn't my day job. In the past, I talked about pausing/stopping donations once I release the final chapter, both on here and on Royal Road.
But what would you guys think about me posting drafts of book 2's chapters on here? They would be in a very rough state and I wouldn't be able to guarantee a regular posting schedule. But it would be something I might do to retain interest.
I wouldn't be able to justify keeping the higher tiers (Masters and Shandan), so I may get rid of them. (Or heck, I might keep them around and let people decide if they want to downgrade and/or cancel. All paid tiers will have the same access regardless. Let me know what you think.)
I have an ambitious story I want to tell and it scares me. There's a lot of world building I have to do behind the scenes. And it's possible I may have to make large changes to chapters that I post if I decide there's a development that won't work. (I'll try to avoid this the best I can.)
Basically, you'll be observing the writing process, which often involves me banging my head against the wall, sometimes backpedaling, hacking out a story, etc.
Thoughts?

It's generally rare though to have such readers, but leaving the option open is a great idea.

2024-07-11 02:11:44 +0000 UTCThink it could be fun to see the process, and it's not like you're *forcing* anyone to see it lol, I think it's a nice option
