Today I am going to implement a first person cover system in unreal engine. For this I am going to reference the first person cover system in the far cry game series. This cover system can be applied to any place such as a short wall or an edge of a building, wall or any other place suitable for a cover. When it is used with a shot wall, character will crouch and cover behind the short wall and when right click, first person character will emerge and look above the wall to give a better view for the player to shoot. When used with an edge of a building or a higher wall where we cannot above it, character will emerge from the side to give a better view for shooting. when aiming button is released, character will go back to cover.
