Wanted to give some fun little tidbits of my thoughts :) So Formula 1 is one of my obsessions, none of my friends keep with it or K-pop so this is the first chance I've had to info dump about this. I'm CONVICED someone in SKZ is a formula one fan. The first and most obvious Formula 1 reference is with Charles Leclerc in Truman: There's been a few theories as to what the lyric has meant. Felix has stated on bubble (or whatever JYPE's new message system is now) that when he wrote the lyric, he wasn't aware of Charles first race being the same as SKZ debut date. So I have a few thoughts as to what they meant by taking our time like Leclerc. The first and most common theory I've seen on the interwebs is in relation to the world championship. Objectively I've found that the f1 community as a whole agrees that Leclerc could very well be a champion by now but unfortunately Ferrari (the team he drives for) FAMOUSLY has terrible strategy. (I say that as a Ferrari fan with a constant broken heart). He is an top tier driver; Ferrari even gave him the longest contract in their history. So it could be in reference to that Leclerc hasn't gotten the championship yet but its widely agreed he could if Ferrari could just get it together. My second thought is Leclerc's home race. His home race is in Monte Carlo and the last time a Monegasque won there was in 1931. He has tried for years to win there; he grew up on the streets of the track. But every time something crazy would happen. To the point people said he was cursed to never win it. But then last year he finally won. Not sure if this brings any more meaning to the song, but I love to think about context. The second one is just a little fun thing in Burnin' Tires. I haven't seen anyone on the interwebs talking about this (maybe I just haven't seen it but I've looked) and it's driving me CRAZY. Around 1:35 or so, there's the sound of a race car. I would know that sound anywhere, its one of my text tones lol. That is specifically the V6 engine in an f1 car, probably on a straight part of track. Those cars can hit anywhere from 190mph/305kmh up to 230mph/370kmh varying on each track. If you blink you'll miss them. It creates that really specific sound I've never heard anywhere else. I think somewhere in the song is also the V6 engine start, potentially from the pit lane. It's very quiet and clipped but it caught my attention. That's all, info dump done :)
