Quest Hub, New Gallery Def's...

Ok... Here is the news about what I have done so far for the last 2 weeks. I have the quest hub (new registering of quests) for stage 1 complete. Stage 2 Hub, is a bit more complicated, since there are 2 nav's - one on the side (which works), and the character top nav (for each character: Brynn, Lynn, Mari, Lana, Valerie) Each one of those will show individual quests as well. (This one should be done by friday I hope...) Then I have to put in the quest hints and register them into renpy.

So Damn Exciting...

Well, to start the holiday off, I want everyone to know I hope they are safe. Next, some exciting news! It's been a week or more since I started this new UI system for the quests area. Changing everything from how it looks, works, and even how to add when needed. I have a few quick photos of that as well. Also, finish the music system that allows you to change the music mid game, or anytime. You can change the music, even when the scenes change if it fits your mood. I am still getting the box...

Ok... Here we go for this last week...

Believe it or not, I had a friend tell me about hoe to make the statements in the code to be more "realistic" and not so "messy". I tried it, and it worked out for the better for Lynn's statements. She no longer gets "stuck", as there are safe handlers now for her arcade series.(Since that series does nothing but grow and grow)

Alright, Thanks to Archi, He helped us out quite abit with some of the bugs, that has been eluding. I have also fixed a few other things, and actually stopped trying to streamline the game. (It's really not worth the aggravation)

Update coming tomorrow!

I am updating the game tomorrow afternoon, with what I think is a good release. I have been as far as the newer items. Some things are un-made, so forgive me for that. Some of the script will not be activated yet, as I have to still finish the side story for Brynn to complete.

I am making the files tonight before goin got bed and going to work tomorrow. Thank you all for being with me and dealing with my busy schedule.

Brynn's Story Continues...

As I was saying... I have now almost finished the story for Brynn for the update, since the last update left so many holes in her story. I do not wish for you to keep reloading the game and trying to figure out what the hell is going with her. I have added another set of images, another library action, and also a phone conversation you can have with her before the internet goes live. This sets up with what will be happening in the next few updates.

It is Sunday night, and here is what I have worked on this last weekend.

The issues with Val seem to have gone away. I have also made it to the library, and re-done the script so it is now available with no issues. I have also added another section to the library scene so the story can continue. As far as the Flora meeting, that is being revamped so that that path is correct. If you choose either, that path is now about to work. Either punch or restrain yourself. Comes out two differen...

Updates for Secrets...

I was out of town for a week, and couldn't really work on this while visiting a friend. I am now back in town and will be working on this all weekend again. I have re-run through most of stage 1. Found one other error, which I will be addressing tonight.

Stage 2:

Fixes for 2.8.5

So, I am re-running the game from the dist folder, and not the folder I use when creating the game.

Here's What I found so far:

phone back system images did not properly get into the distro folder... ???? Once, those are put into the proper folders, the phone system should work.

I am checking certain tags that don't allow me to even have Val come over anymore. This has to be something to do with whatever tag has gone and be a ghost. The tag is there, but is not activating li...

Hello again...

The newest update is ready. I will be uploading it on Friday for $5.00 and up subs. I want to personally thank everyone who stuck by me during the trying times of my life within the last year or so.

Warning though: The file size is 2.5 gb, that's 500MB bigger than the last one! Some of the content still has not been put in, because I did run out of time placing them into the code. I will be continuing the updates as promised and updating you on the updates weekly. ...

Week ending of June 1st

Alright, so here are the details. If you checkout the photos above, you will see the major phone update. This is the last update for the phone until the next update. It wasn't easy to get the desired look of it, so I am hoping you will all like it.

Additions and Fixes are very little this week, since the phone took up most of the week, creating the assets and rendering extra time. I have made changes and updated a few other scenes, since the older ones didn't look great for me.

Updates for week ending 05/26

More updates and additions and some other fixes for this week. I am hopeful that I can get all the things I want done for the update next week. Yeah... It's coming. It probably won't be 100% done, but there will be major changes to some of the UI. Especially the phone system now.

I will be finishing up with the additions that were made earlier. The Brynn Gym section will start this update, but not finish. Other classroom actions will be complete, but some loose ends will be next update....

It has been a busy week for Mari and Lynn. Most of the newer fixes are from the later stages of earlier programming, and also a bit of streamlining the if/then statements along the way. More additions this week versus Fixes. I started also removing a scene because it was done in such a hurry before, and wasn't complete.

Here we are, now in the third week of creating a better experience with Secrets. I have managed to go through all of the Stage 1 and now i am into doing the stage 2 fixes and additions for the newest update. Here they are, with some additional photos. :)

So, in Lew of all things going on, and life being tough... I am pleased to say now that I can finally give anywhere from 10 to 12 hours a week on this project. Many things has happened, and I am not about to go on with life's challenges.

Here is the breakdown of my schedule, just to let everyone know, I am still alive, I am no longer sick, and as far as I know, people in life are done dying for the time.

Rayne now has to make major choices between Mari, Brynn, and Lynn and figure who she can trust the most with all her secrets.

I have read your messages, and I want to thank you for even worrying about me, and my family. That does mean a lot. I appreciate everyone who has helped me with this on going issue currently and the fact that secrets hasn't been updated in so long. I actually sit down now daily and still continue to program it.

The update will be out, it will be up to 2.8 update finished. Then just 2 more updates for the game when it reaches 3.0

I am writing to you to let you know that the updates for WRCTF is almost complete for the next chapter. I have made about another 80 images. I am about half way done, and will be available very soon. So, about the shortness of the part 3B, it was the parts I could not finish. It does not go all over the place, as it does set up what happens in part 4. Part 4 will be much longer. I know it can be frustrating. I am sorry to make anyone unhappy or angry at the fact it wasn't so long. Please accept my apology and short-comings on this last chapter.

Secrets & WRCTF... Updates

So, some good news...

I have hired a programmer to help with the fixes and the grind issues with Secrets. He is a good man, programs in python consistently and will help keep the game moving forward with tips and clean up of the program. He has his work cut out for him! He already knows this :)
