Quick Talk about My Distortion Processing Process
Added 2024-11-05 18:39:29 +0000 UTCI have had quite a few questions and comments about the character a lot of my sound has. The main point is just that I listen and react. It's sort of hard to explain which I why I wanted to just talk about it briefly and give some examples of how I think about stuff. Hope you find this helpful!
Also let me know if you find this sort of thing helpful. I can try to do more like this. =)

Very interesting. It makes sense to push/pull things in stages when you are going this hard, and I like the way you describe it as a kind of additive synthesis.

2024-11-05 19:08:38 +0000 UTCLove seeing this kind of stuff. It's a nice contrast to the never ending stream of YT stuff that's all about designing a "perfect" kick drum. My process is also exploratory and has led to many sounds that I love.
