Spooky season continues...

Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to check out the latest episode. It made a fun break to actually work with some other people (rather than just sitting in the archives on my own). So I'm glad so many of you enjoyed it. I pitched it to the guys involved as a digital campfire, a chance to sit around and share a ghost story one by one and I think we achieved that.

Also thank you to all your suggestions for who to get involved next time. The most requested options were the likes of Shrouded Hand, Mr Ballen, Wartime/Bedtime Stories. So thanks for keeping it achievable for me guys haha. But there were a bunch of smaller creators that people suggested that I will try and check out (although one of the most requested smaller channels appears to be entirely AI, which I was quite surprised by). It'll likely be a long time before we do something like that again, but I will keep all your requests in mind.

But spooky season rolls on. For Halloween there will be another deep dive coming your way. But later this week, the radio tower is getting a much needed boost and something will be returning. Check out ⁨@NightDriveParanormal⁩ is you don't want to miss out...

Duuuude, this was one of my favorite episodes (of so many), and I love your idea of a digital camp fire! It’s such wonderful way to bring together both spooky makers and listeners in one space, and I so enjoyed listening to it in piece meal before bed this week. I do have to say though, on your last VO about getting to hear different storytelling styles — it just reaffirmed why you’re my favorite. Not only is your content so nuanced and deeply researched, your voice and delivery set the perfect tone for the topics at hand. I’m so glad to be part of your community as a supporter and long-time fan ❤️

I didn't get a moment to comment before, but I also enjoy a channel called "Dixie After Dark." It has ghosts, cryptids and legends from the Southern US. On a spooky note, I saw my first "feu follet" (what Cajun people call a ghost light) a few nights ago. It was the size of a basketball, glowed bright yellow-white for a little over one second, and disappeared. So cool to finally see one! They are rumored to be the souls of the indigenous people who first lived on this land thousands of years ago, but no one knows for sure. For the record, we still have indigenous Nations in Louisiana today, such as the Houma and the Choctaw, to name two of many. I loved the latest episode, btw! Excellent job as always, Mr. Library!
