I definitely feel the same way you do about this case. There is so much about it that lands squarely in the “plausible but not provable” category I simply don’t know what to make of it. I used to be fascinated by the warrens but the more I learn about them the more I believe they were in it for the money/fame. If they truly cared about the people they “helped” you’d think they’d try to avoid ruining people’s reputations. But they pushed them toward going public, knowing the scrutiny and persecution that it inevitably causes. They left regular, suffering people in their wake time and time again. And then to profit off of Hollywood movie deals after the fact, further twisting the truth around the actual cases….. it just doesn’t sit right with me. It’s….. slimy.
