Someone came up with a theory in the comments that really jumped out at me. That the missing money the father had was kept in a safe somewhere in the house. Hence the vandalism looking for it, the spirits talking about the combination. Also that the prior family had purchased the board to try and speak to the dead father. Obviously there are still issues with that idea but I think it ticks a few boxes at least.

It was a brand new apartment yet it was so depressing I moved after 4 months. Just something about that place..This episode was one of the best, Mr. TL. Your research, writing style, presentation, it's just top notch! I'm still kinda numb after watching this and what went on in my creepy old place!

2025-04-20 21:27:58 +0000 UTCI am probably way off, but the combination of questions surrounding the ouija board, the burning wood smell, the combination, and the demonic presence made me think of the practice of using demons/ghosts for treasure hunting. There are grimoires with rituals focused on this, and not finishing or making a mess of a ritual can leave a door open to demonic presence. It just made me picture someone trying to retrieve this ‘combination’ through using the ouija board while burning wood or similar as a purification type of medium, not doing the ritual correctly, and had caused a demonic presence to spill into the home unchecked, and the presence is essentially mocking the different components of the attempted ritual through mimicry, etc. Just a random thought lol Fantastic vid as always!
