SKSEVR Alpha
Added 2020-01-18 23:01:59 +0000 UTCThis is a post for anyone using older versions of SKSEVR that were unstable, please update to the included version here until it's ready to be released.
This alpha has action bindings enabled by default. I don't have all controller types to test with so I don't know what controllers work and which don't. This new build includes new binding files which provide default bindings for most controllers.
Index Controllers should now be natively supported. Natively as in you no longer need to specify simulate_controller_type as Oculus (it's not possible to do this anyway with action bindings). SKSE will do this natively with the additional feature of separating the Joysticks as Axis 3 as opposed to Skyrim normally treating the sticks and touchpad as the same thing.

I am using Lenovo Explorer WMR, even no mods but SKSE there are no inputs going through.

2020-03-30 05:05:33 +0000 UTCWhen I have SKSEVR enabled, I can't get past "press any button". I have solved this in the past by changing an ini without the bLoadVRPlayroom=0 but I think it was related to a controller command and I swear I found that command somewhere in here. I am using VRIK with the extra controller bindings addon.

2020-03-30 03:38:09 +0000 UTCThere is no way to fix the bindings other than for VRIK to have new bindings under the new system. I could do this but it should really be done by the author of VRIK.

2020-02-17 22:50:29 +0000 UTCI prefer the Vrik Index Controller Bindings too ...please could you find a way and fix this ?
2020-02-14 23:10:18 +0000 UTCTurning themselves off is a SteamVR feature unless it's also a feature of the controller. I haven't encountered this when my controllers turn off from inactivity but mine aren't vive wands.

2020-01-30 20:51:37 +0000 UTCCrashes when controllers are not active (they turn off by themselves without activity). I have VIVE Wands.
2020-01-30 20:48:08 +0000 UTCLooks like OpenComposite doesn't send back this property yet: https://gitlab.com/znixian/OpenOVR/blob/master/DrvOculus/OculusDevice.cpp#L384 They need to add: if (IsTouchController()) { PROP(Prop_ControllerType_String, "oculus_touch"); }

2020-01-23 19:32:31 +0000 UTCI'm having trouble using this version with Open Composite, where as the one on the official site was working fine. Any ideas what the issue could be? OpenComposite error is unknown string property - dev: 1, prop: 7000. I'm going to have a rummage through the ini files to see what's different between the versions to see if I can narrow down the issue.
2020-01-23 13:33:20 +0000 UTCIt is newer than what's on the official site yes.

2020-01-20 14:39:28 +0000 UTCVRIK just has different bindings, they aren't required to work. It will need an updated binding file when SKSEVR is released with Action Bindings enabled. VRIK bindings don't show up because they are an older version of the Input system.

2020-01-20 14:29:38 +0000 UTCThe Racemenu VR crashes the game with SKSE VR from the official website. With this modified SKSEVR I can not access the SteamVR community bindings to get this to work with VRIK. If I had to choice Racemenu over VRIK I would choice VRIK since it adds so much to VR. I hope you can fix this but would like to know if you intend to fix this to work along with VRIK.
