Panel Process/Graphic Novel Update 12/10/24

Here is a process collage of a couple panels from Ch 3, page 13.

I get to show off the desert crawler, which is essentially a lizard tank.
Currently working on page 14. This is where the action really heats up.

I'll be dropping a public Chapter 3 announcement on my socials next month to let the rest of my followers know I haven't been dragging my feet when it comes to the books. Patrons will continue to receive regular updates and behind the scenes goods like this one.

Graphic Novel Update 11/16/24

Everybody is due for an update on the graphic novel! Here is a snip of the most recent completed page for Chapter 3, page 11. (SPC Seth Mertens in his knight).

I'm currently working on page 12.

As I've said before, most of Chapter 3 takes place in a canyon city with HEAVY action - big mechs, complicated layout, and a lot of kabooms. I did not want to rush this one.

I also want to make sure I'm providing my supporters with their monthly content on here. I am having a lot of fun making the Oasi Bits and side stories. I know it slightly slows the book progress, but honestly I think it is worth it at this point. The book is still getting done, and we are all having fun while it happens.

Not to worry for those who may be impatient for Chapter 3 - I'll be buckling down for the next few months, making it a point to complete more pages during the winter.

Ch 3 Graphic Novel Update/Preview - 10/5/24

Here is the completed sketch for page 10, Chapter 3 of my graphic novel.

I currently have another 6 pages storyboarded out. I had taken a short break to work on "Prey For Her". Now that the Halloween Special is completed, I'm back to drawing the book. I always forget how much I love drawing my mechs.

This battle sequence is tricky to draw since it takes place within a canyon system. A big thank you to my husband who helped me get the switching back and forth between characters understandable. I really like challenging myself drawing big epic shit, but I definitely need a sounding board at times. My readers will have him to thank for being able to read through this battle smoothly.
