ExW - RRH is Rendering ! - Update
Added 2025-01-27 12:26:56 +0000 UTCHi everybody ! I'm proud to announce that I've completed the "side project" of mine that as usual got a little bit too ambitious again. Red Riding Hood featuring Ellie and Bolt was a halloween idea that I thought was really cool.
My biggest bottleneck is the attention to detail. On one side, I'd like to produce content faster (for myself primarily), but on the other side, if there are visible details missing, it makes me feel like my art doesn't look as good as I want it to. I'm trying to improve on that, and I did say no more forest scenes because they're annoying to make, so naturally I went ahead and did another one... Oups! I love the end result though !
I expect to make a release before the end of the month, but now it depends if there will be errors to fix during the rendering stage. I am using advanced compositing for the artistic look of this project to push the visuals to the limit of my hardware.
After this project, I have tons of ideas that I'd like to pursue, but all of them are time consuming. I think I will focus more on individual render images. I will list my ideas, make environments and a general render set featuring a few images, and then make a vote of which ideas should be the top priority to pursue. That way I can interact more with my fans, and not spend months again on a few images and a 30 seconds animation loop.
