New year's special - Release & Update !

Intro

The time has come ! With quite a delay, I'm very happy to announce the release of my x-mas / new year's special. Big credit goes to FlortySix on baraag for making the audio on all three videos. If you're an artist who's looking for tips, or someone who wants to contribute to my projects, feel free to pm me ^^

Content access

The animations are public, but the comic and 4k versions are on the drive. Links have been changed and send through the newsletter for all active subscribers. New subscribers receive the links from me personally. Don't hesitate to PM me with any issue.

Update

First of all, apologies for the delay with this release. New year didn't quite started as I hoped, but everything gets back on track again slowly. I want to start setting more realistic goals, and further improve my schedule and workflows for content production. Even if I'm impacted by delays, I will never rush my content until I think it's fully finished.

I will focus now on the Book Club release, and then I will do a little brainstorming, and maybe even a poll about the next idea. I received a lot of positive feedbacks, and I aknowledge that a lot of you would love to see content with my younger Ellie model aswell. Keep in mind that it will need to be ported for the latest versions of blender, but I'll keep you updated with future ideas of course.

What's new in the tech ?

This is a very exciting year for Blender artists. With the release of 4.0, there are so much new powerful features to work with. Better animation tools will result in faster future animation production, EEVEE Next will allow for a hybrid ray-traced renders like Lumen in UE5, a lot of Blender optimizations and more ! Of course there are some downfalls like addon errors which need updating, re-adapting rigs for new features, and changing workflows for the new interface. Furthermore, I started to learn python so I can automate a lot of things during animation of Ellie and Bolt that takes up a lot of time to do manually.
