Lil punk's got heart
Added 2022-11-17 05:29:52 +0000 UTCPosted this on my discord but never did get around to properly posting it here, so it is with some lil bits of lore as a tiny treat! :> But before I get into the lore tidbits: this was originally supposed to be a short test for making my paintings look a little more traditional, but it kinda got outta hand and I spent a lot more time with it because I was having too much fun. xD In the end, I really like the result and may try this look in future posts! :> With that said, have small funfacts!
-Thanks to the tomfoolery of the squad on Discord, Sakura may or may not've had a goth/punk phase back in middle school. A lot of the aesthetics she used to put a lot of effort in (makeup, nail polish, and dress mostly) eventually stopped or shifted to other things the more she became comfortable with herself, but her taste in jewelry remained the same. The earrings are a callback to that long-forgotten (or it would be if Quincy didn't constantly tease her about it) era.
-Sakura's tattoo was gained entirely on a bet. She was bet by her friends that she couldn't sit still long enough to get any tattoo done. Competitive as she is, she got the largest tattoo she could think of on her arm; it spans the entirety of her arm (shoulder to wrist) in a full sleeve, and she had to have it all done in multiple 5-hour long sessions. Turn out she can sit still long enough, but to say she struggled with it would be an understatement. Once I legitimately design this tattoo you'll be seeing her with it alongside a few other doodles that detail that particular event! :>
