A small hike (F&F doodle)

Evangeline: As much as I've enjoyed this... (wipes sweat off her forehead with a ragged sigh) Um. H-how long until we reach the start? 

Sakura: (squints against the sun filtered through the trees and hums with a thoughtful pout) Mmmm... I'd say about another four miles. You doin' okay there, Evie?  

Evangeline: (toys with her earring bashfully) Yes? But, um... I'll admit, I-I'm getting a little tired.  

Kaela: That is okay! (touches a hand to Evangeline's arm in mild concern) We could stop and rest for a few minutes if you need?  

Evangeline: (Slows her steps, a little unsure, but looks at Kaela gratefully) Please? I-if that's okay with you?  

Sakura: O'course we don't mind! (Lifts one arm up to pump it into an enthusiastic fist) And then after ya feel better, we can run the rest of the way!  

Evangeline: (Turns to stare with raised brows, looking winded and more than a little intimidated) R-run?  

Sakura: Sure! Ta get back quicker. I mean, if ya still tired by then I could just carry ya. I don't mind!  

Evangeline: (Eyes widen, exertion flush deepening into a flustered one. She nearly trips over herself) Oh.

 Kaela: (A breathy laugh escapes her, and she looks at Sakura with barely-concealed amusement. Her gentle hold on Evangeline's arm is the only thing that steadies the poor girl) Maybe we save the running for another time, sweetie.

In which the gals go for what's supposed to be a relaxing hike! Evangeline, however, isn't in as good a shape as Kaela or Sakura so she has a bit of a hard time keeping up. Thankfully, the girls have solutions! owo

A rough sketch that kinda flew away from me the longer I worked on it, so it ended up being far more involved than I intended. Just as well though; this could work as a sort of test for walkthrough posts I plan on making for the higher tiers! I'll probably alternate between Gifs, step-by-step posts, and full process recording with a written summary of the process so I can have a variety of walkthrough methods instead of just sticking to just one. This one will be visible to the entirety of my Patreon just to show off what it could possibly be like! :)

For this one is just the no-commentary gif. I'll try a step-by-step in the next few days using this one or some other piece, so we'll see how it goes!
