Have you tried mouth spray with melatonin? A 2mg dose works wonders for me. Even though it gives me very lively and weird dreams. ^^;

Wait until you get Insomnia Plus Ultra… where your brain starts to do an impression of a dolphin’s, by having parts of it randomly go to sleep on you involuntarily during the day… which is almost exactly what it sounds like… the experience is a bit like being asleep and awake at the same time. You find you suddenly can’t add two and two because your brain’s math coprocessor is non-functioning. You forget what that thing in the corner is called for several seconds… (it’s called a BICYCLE,) and so on.
Happily, lower functions like heart and breathing generally are handled by a part of the brain that is labeled “essential,” and the breaker panel that controls the flow of power and consciousness to it is located in a vault, and is moreover heavily guarded.
In fact, the whole breaker panel is devoted to that one system, and to shut it off, you have to flip the breakers to the correct positions… because of the way it’s wired, all breakers being off does NOT actually cut power to it. You have to have the exact right sequence of breakers off, they have to be shut off IN ORDER, and if any of the ones other than those that have to be off are switched to “OFF,” it has the effect of keeping the power flowing… it’s hard to explain, except to say imagine a door with a dozen deadbolts on it, and you can’t see which ones lock and unlock in the right orientation, so to open the door, some must appear to be locked and others must appear to be open…
…but with power instead.
Why, yes, I am on prescription pain killers… why do you ask?
