*Steven Universe* Season 4 Episodes 18-19 UNCUT REACTION

Yeah I definitely see the creators intent with this episode. Would I personally spend much more energy trying to inform Ronaldo after how he acted in this episode? Probably not, but Steven having the patience to try to work through his ignorance with him is why he's our titular character. I'm gonna start using the phrase "patience of a Steven" from now on lol.

I agree it's so disheartening that despite majority support for a ceasefire in America our President and most of our representatives present the idea as being off the table. I really hope that the current short ceasefire allows the aid people have already sent to effectively get to those in need. I think in a lot of these cases raising awareness, boycotting companies and products that exacerbate the issues the affected people face, and putting pressure on our government is the best work we can do on an individual level.

A lot of people straight up hate rocknaldo and were really upset he got a "happy ending" instead of getting completely chewed out. But honestly, a kid's show has to be so careful about that kind of thing. Sure most kids are going to relate to Steven, but there's a chance some kid watching sees themselves in Ronaldo, and you don't want that kid's takeaway to be, "you can't come back from being a jerk." You want them to feel like they can change their behavior and keep their friends. I really do hate it tho lol

I had to pause while watching to come back and thank you so much for taking about what's going on in the world right now. I am just this week starting to learn about what's happening in Congo (and I had no idea about Ethiopia I'm about to read up there and see if there's any way to help) but I have been closely following Palestine for weeks and have had to do a lot of research for some charity fundraisers I've been involved in - I know there aren't as many eyes here as on your yt but for your consideration when you put resources in your yt description - Anera is the best charity I found to work with. Actually getting resources into Gaza is difficult but Anera is the one I've found that has people on the ground, in regular contact, getting things in and distributing goods! It doesn't look like the ceasefire is being honoured tbh, our govt needs to take a hard stand and demand BB to stop this senseless killing but they're still doing what they do best... jack and squat. :/
