Sexbot Road Ahead

Hi Everyone,

First, I'd like to thank all of you for your amazing support. Sexbot would not exist in its current form without this amazing community. You have granted me the opportunity to create this game, and I am extremely grateful. So, I will try to give you an idea of what I will be working on now that Phase 1 is concluded, without giving too much away.

PHASE 2 (a.k.a. Sexbot Recalibated, a.k.a. SBR)

When I started this game, the plan was to make it about MC, Alexa and Emily, and time travel wasn't even on my notes. Obviously the scope of Phase 1 grew quite a bit in the last few years. Additionally, Sexbot is my first game and I have been learning as I go since the beginning.

With that in mind, I want to make sure Phase 2 is properly planned out, with all the features of Phase 1 and more, hopefully done more effectively. So I will require some time to get the code base in order, before I can start making content.

I don't have a timeline on it, but work has already began and I will release teaser images when I have things worth showing. But for anyone who has been following me, you know I work fast, and there will not be a huge down time before I produce something playable. I can't wait to play Sexbot Recalibrated, so I'm you can't wait either :P

I will hold scene voting next month for Phase 2 content, so stay tuned!

The Halloween Event

While I guess this is now part of Phase 1, it was planned to be a Phase 2 event. That being said, I think it's very much at home in Phase 1 and I want to keep it there. This event was planned to be easy to build on, so I'm doing just that. I am currently working to finish this event with 4 more scenes featuring Emily, Sam, Steph, and Jessica. I'm actually almost done the images for those scenes. Then I want to add in more trophies for Halloween, a few for XXXmas, and a Halloween theme for the main menu.

I have made this the current priority in the hopes of getting it all finished. So surprise, you will be getting a Halloween update this summer!

Steam

This is obviously the end goal for every game developer, and I plan to get Sexbot (Phase 1) available on that platform by the end of the year. This will be mostly background work, as there is some rewriting to do, the review process, and marketing. So it will not detract from my development schedule much. And as always, get Sexbot on your Steam wishlist! I have a community goal to make a voted animation when we hit the next milestone.

Blackjack

This project has been on hold for some time, while I work on the main game. I have a bit I could add to it, but it simply has not been a priority. If you still have interest in this game, let me know. If it were up to me, I'd prefer to make a proprietary card game, with some kind of battle system, but that would take even more time, so it will probably have to wait. I might make some more blackjack sets as rewards, or bonuses going forward.

Conclusion

There is no shortage of things to be done, or my willingness to do them! I'm still feeling super passionate about this project. I feel Phase 1 was just getting started, and I can't wait to get Phase 2 content to you. So I will keep working away, and any support you can offer to keep me working is super appreciated.
