Added 2023-01-06 21:08:22 +0000 UTCHi everyone,
This is something that has been on my mind for a while now, and when in doubt, asking the supporters is the best route.
I am considering rewriting small portions of the game, to change the setting to college, to allow for steam store distribution.
While Sexbot's characters are all over 18, steam has different rules, including not allowing adult games set in high school. What I am considering is changing the setting to the 4th month of Ama-Zone Tech, leading up to the homecoming dance. The boys would have had a lame frosh week because they all live at home off campus, and want to make sure they aren't losers in college, like they were in high school.
There would be no visual changes made. Only writing, and not much of it at that. I personally believe the impact on the story would be very minimal. My conflict comes from this being a creative compromise, in the pursuit of financial gain. With financial gain being the driving factor in pursuing my creative career.
So please give you input in the poll below, and if you would like, the comment section below. Nothing has been put in motion yet, so I am open to feedback.
Thanks!

I think the change in setting would be a great idea. A lot of the writing material is already there and as you said it would mostly be minimal changes. You got this!

2023-01-11 04:13:53 +0000 UTCEh. My vote is "I don't like it, but I'm not going to bow out over it." I would prefer a patch or something to change it, if at all possible.

2023-01-07 21:28:53 +0000 UTCStory wise it hurt because the moment you choose (prom) is really meaningful in a cultural way... but this story is so good (in a fun way) that it doesnt hurt that much, so pal, If this help you out in any way, go ahead. I still supporting

2023-01-07 05:35:04 +0000 UTCThis seems like a fairly major alteration, not a minor one to me. I would not support that.

2023-01-07 04:17:10 +0000 UTCfair enough, that's why I ask. There is also the option of an alternate steam version, more work for me, but keeps this version shiny and nice. But I'm still looking at options

2023-01-07 02:48:48 +0000 UTCOption 1 with a caveat: something like this is an unfortunate aspect of making transgressive content on the Internet, and something that I resent about that process of becoming profitatble. While I don't think this specific change significantly alters the game's content to the point where I feel the game is fundamentally compromised, it wouldn't take many more externally-forced changes like this for me to stop supporting the project.

2023-01-07 02:01:29 +0000 UTCSeeing this game and you successful is far more important to me than what level of school the characters are in. Get this baby on steam and get yo money Llama!

2023-01-07 00:55:52 +0000 UTCThough I always believe it is important to never compromise on your art, I guess I don't really see this as a compromise. It's a pretty lateral move with the same outcome. School = school. Now go get you some mo' money.

2023-01-07 00:33:03 +0000 UTCdude this is 100% reasonable. Make the changes, make the money, invest more time/effort in the game to make more/better content for more money, everyone is happy.

2023-01-06 22:57:20 +0000 UTCIf you are changing something maybe you could include some more (temporary) Breast Expansions? I´m a really big fan of that. ;-) Otherwise I love the game and the changes will allow you to sell it on steam and this will support your work go for it :-D
unimportant
2023-01-06 22:41:34 +0000 UTCObviously the story works much better in high school, but if the changes are text only, the game can be patched back to what it was intended to be, and you get the best of both worlds.
