What type of content would you prefer?

good evening c: long story short, I’ve been a bit too ambitious with my new schedule and I might risk burning out if I don’t adjust. I may need to cut down on some content each month while figuring out other workarounds. One idea I’m considering is posting daily or every other day doodles to keep things consistent, though this will take some getting used to.

Here’s the situation: I can either cut down on the smaller content (drawings and small animated loops) or focus more on big animations with audio and VO.

To give you an idea of the work involved, big animations require a lot more time and effort than smaller animations—about 2-3 times more work, which is roughly equivalent to 9-12 fully rendered drawings (if we assume a big animation contains 3 different animatied shots). Creating multiple animated shots often takes up the majority of my time each week.

Heres the two options I’m considering for my monthly schedule:

Option 1:

• 1 - 2 drawings on week 1

• 1 small animation (animated loop) on week 2

• 1 - 2 drawings on week 3

• 1 small animation (animated loop) on week 4

Option 2:

• 1 drawing on week 1

• 1 drawing or 1 small animation on week 2

• Big animation with audio and VO for week 3 and 4

This isn’t set in stone or like a final decision, im always looking to improve and maximize my work as much as possible, and I'd like your feedback so I can make the best decision moving forward. Either way, I’ll be cutting down on some content to avoid burnout, but I’d love to hear what you prefer or if you have any suggestions!

I would obviously love to keep doing the big animations, they're a lot of fun and i feel like that's sort of my main content, but i kinda have to pick what to focus on. It could also be possible to switch between the 2 schedules month to month. so maybe more but small content one month, then less but the big content the next and so on.
or if i cut down on the content itself of the big animations so they take less time to make could also be an option. so just think of this poll as brainstorming.

And just to clarify: I’m a bit behind on this month’s big animation, but I aim to finish it by the end of January. If I don’t make it, I’ll at least have a drawing ready to post before then.
