rumble in the jungle (+artist thoughts)
Added 2025-01-26 07:27:47 +0000 UTCi am not sure from what year this ych originally was, but im glad that i made it! Tristen dig up an old unsold sketch and asked if its open... well, it was
and i was very anxious to make it at first, everyone can easily see the disproportion and difference in style and skill. I roughly sketched the new pose on top of the sketch, changed the sizing, anatomy, expressions, many things. I forgot what characters should be very but there were rough lines easy to adjust xD Finally after the lineart was done (see previous post) it was very smooth to continue. I was afraid its still not gonna be good enough, but Tristen and Glock really liked the lines without any more edits/requests.
After making the Jungle Hunter Predator fanart and art for Dan (Tiger with waterfall behind it) I was more sure how to make the background here - took me long time with all the greens and compositions, i still would change some things, but in other way - some mistakes are fun :D
Tribal vibe, more expressive face, that was extremely nice too look at at the end.
It was challenging, I ghosted this project for a month at least, but once I sat into it I finished it in like 24h, eh :'D
