"Deathblight RPG- Operation Thunderfang" Alpha 3.1 (2017/10/27)

Hello everyone!

After extensive testing and a lot of bug fixes, Alpha 3.1 is finally ready for release. I hope we didn't overlook any bugs.

The city has been populated a lot more, there's also a taxi-sign teleport service, as well as some dialogue tweaks here and there.
(also we did a funny thing with Ferania's dialouge regarding the taxi service if you try to abort multiple times ;D)

Also there are lab reports on computers inside of the second dungeon.

You can read them to figure out what happened down there, but some of them are a bit hidden and need to be found through searching around.

There's no new CG scenes or new graphics.

And there's also no new areas.

It's only Alpha 3 polished (that's why it's called Alpha 3.1).


We try to work on Alpha 4 as hard as possible to get it out as fast as we can!

We'll post a newspost with new graphics either later today or in the upcoming days.

Changelog Alpha3.1 - 27/10/2017:


- Added a lot of live to the town. You can now find many flavor NPC walking around.

  -> At night, most NPCs change, having different dialogue or just being replaced by completely new NPCs.


- Added a fast travel option via taxi-stops.

  -> To fast travel, look for a taxi stop and "talk" to it, you will then get the option to choose your destination.

  -> Every travel costs 50G.

  -> If you leave the first dungeon before completing it, you will get a little tutorial scene on how to use the fast travel system.


- Added lore logs to the second dungeon. If you want to know a bit of backstory to what happened there, just look around and find all of the logs.


- Changed the sprite color of the big groups in the first dungeon, to make them distinguishable from the smaller ones.


- Tweaked a few dialogues.

this will be added with alpha 4^^ the CGs of each dungeon will be added to the gallery on the PC once a dungeon was cleared. Since alpha 3.1 was only the half dungeon, you couldn't clear it and that's why there are no CGs of the second dungeon on the PC yet^^

There is no way to access to the Scene-computer after playing with Catheline? (And please, add the battle fuck scene in the computer :D )

I felt the boss of the first dungeon was probably a bit too hard; I don't see how it's possible to beat those two without grinding to level 6 (?) for Gravity and even then you need to "refill" first by manipulating battles and have a bit of luck. The gameover scene is very long, and there's no skip for already seen and no "fast-forward" by pressing control. I resorted to reseting the game entirely on losses against them.

The first dungeon feels extremely empty and bland. There's zero loot to find, no objects to interact until the end, two enemy types only. In contrast, the second is a lot more interesting with some interesting back story, some loot, examinable objects... On the other hand, the second dungeon is a lot easier. Smaller enemy groups (3 vs 6), and access to potions and a rest spot. I understand that it has to be easier since you have only one character later, but maybe enemy group size could vary on current party size?

Played this game for the first time. I'm impressed! I got zero bugs, the game is fun and it looks great. I love the little "animations" on attacks and the large skill variety to use. Managing hp and tension is good and gives a more strategic aspect. I do have some concers though (in next post, can't do paragraphs in the patreon app...)

Just wanted to let you know I took a big risk doing this...and I'm probably only gonna be able to do it this month...parents still control the money (stupid Social Security.) and I'm gonna have to make a VERY convincing story to cover this...But I want you to know, this 5 dollars I give is all the monetary support I can offer...but I'll be supporting you in spirit. probably you need to reinstall the RTP. I think someone else had a similliar issue but when he/she installed the RTP anew, it worked.

you have to hold the SHIFT key to move faster, then it should be possible to reach it in time ^^

I look forward to checking out all these changes but I'll probably wait for full new release with some new scenes so I have incentive to replay the entire second dungeon in one go.

the second dungeon, but not the code. The part in which to activate the teletravel you have to pull the lever and make in time to get to the commands. I probably have a pc too old and the ga does not go to the right frames because I do in time.

I don't know why, but the game pulls up a message that says Unable To Find: Graphics/Characters/Nil. I don't know why that is, but it only happens with the 3.0 versions of the game.

which teleportation do you mean? the one from second dungeon? and by "commands", do you mean the code: 7842 ?

Could you put a save after the teleportation? I can not make time to get the commands, no matter how much i try. Thank you in advance
