Dynamic Movements, Impactful Upgrades, and Dances: BM and Huntrix (NSFW)

Hi guys!!

This week's update is packed with energy and progress in many areas! We've been refining Maria's animations: updating her skeletons, testing new animations, and improving her visual effects so that every movement feels more alive and expressive for Rumi, Mira, and Zoey.

Each change contributes to defining the visual identity of Battle Maidens, along with Maria and Grace, preparing the team for more dynamic and detailed scenes. We're getting closer and closer to something truly exciting, and every test brings us one step closer.

Rumi received a new head model and a reorganized body skeleton, bringing her design closer to the new visual standard we're aiming for.

We also worked on a new test animation for Maria, focusing on her combat fluidity and movement review. It's still in its early stages, but it already has a lot of potential.

Rumi also received a dance test to check her physical setup and facial expressiveness. You can see how her braid moves naturally with the new skeleton system.

Using the same model, we tested Maria's impact reaction animation: fast, dynamic, and already showing noticeable improvements with the added physics and motion details.

Mira has been completely rebuilt for future animations and is now ready to go with her improved rig and materials.

A special test was also performed on Mira's hair physics, ensuring that it remained consistent and didn't become erratic during complex movements.

Huntrix has also been rebuilt, with Zoey being the last to receive attention. She is now fully ready for dance testing, guaranteeing that there are no errors in her rig or motion setup.

Regarding the Battle Maidens' fight intro, we're in the middle of animating Maria and Grace's entrance, which is full of detail and energy. We just need to animate Grace's sequence to complete the intro.

Here's another shot of the same sequence, but from a closer angle: these tests help us find the best framing for the final version.

Grace also received significant updates to her skeleton, especially her hair. We added finger controllers for better movement of the strands and slightly smoothed its texture for a smoother appearance.
