Battle Maidens in Action: Power, Impact & Temptation (NSFW)

Hi guys!!!!

We've made a lot of progress with Maria and Grace this week! From new running and combat motion tests to lighting and shading experiments in Unity, everything is moving toward smoother and more dynamic animations.

Both characters are being fine-tuned for upcoming combat phases, with improvements to physics, strikes, and reactions, and even animation NSFW for Grace's job.

Back with Maria, and things are getting interesting. One of our animators just ran her: a fluid and intense test designed to simulate motion transitions for future combat animations.

Meanwhile, Grace is undergoing major improvements. We're getting her up to Maria's current level, working on a full game-ready model that's almost finished. Just a few more details and she'll be ready for smooth animation.

All of these updates are focused on preparing Maria and Grace for Unity testing. The main goal: to prepare them for the upcoming combat sequences.

We're also fine-tuning the physics system, ensuring everything reacts perfectly to movement. That's why we're sharing the skeleton setup for both characters; with just a few tweaks, it'll be fully ready for Unity integration.

Maria's final animation now includes the impact of a blow. It may seem simple at first, but it's a crucial step in developing the combat flow. We won't stop at punches: combos, kicks, and dynamic chains come next.

We're conducting additional tests for running and combat poses. For this round, the characters will be exported directly from FBX, showing different versions of outfits for Maria and Grace.

We're also experimenting with Unity's cartoon shader and testing various lighting setups to see how textures react with different intensities. These steps help us visually highlight every detail and improve overall realism.

For the blob effect, we're using a placeholder to create that distinctive arc of motion just before impact; it adds energy and visual flair to each blow.

We also have a new animation showing Maria taking a hit, part of a segmented workflow where we animate each reaction separately before syncing them with the full fight sequence.

We're combining double-sided impacts for testing; this feature will be critical in upcoming gameplay sequences.

Back to Grace, her latest animation features some non-workplace improvements. The model received subtle updates to her body, physics, lighting, fluids, and overall texture quality, as well as a brand-new background.

We're currently running an extended animation test, adjusting camera angles and preparing the game's UI view. It's not final yet, but it looks absolutely incredible.

All of these individual tests will soon merge into something much larger, with more refined animation cycles, timing, and immersive details. Every small improvement brings the project closer to its full potential.

Meanwhile, the Unity tests are focused on the main Battle Maidens game, which will feature full-scale combat and cinematic sequences.

Karen also received a lighting and physics upgrade in her animation, making every motion smoother and more natural.
