Grace’s Toy Play, Karen’s Power, Maria’s Strength & Zoey’s Arrival (NSFW)

Hi guys,

Today I’m bringing you a very precise recap of all the progress we’ve made with the models and animations. The main goal is to polish every single detail so that the final result looks solid, dynamic, and truly stands out.
On top of that, we’re collaborating with Melóngun for Battle Maidens on the new card minigame, and the first animation tests in Unity are already underway.

Zoey was our first big focus, where her model was polished in depth. We organized all the elements, defined her colors, and built a stable base ready for animations.

Every part was carefully adjusted so that when the action starts, everything flows naturally.

With Zoey properly set up, we advanced with her physics: corrections, expressions, movements, and all the small details that now leave her fully ready for animation.

One interesting detail added to the process were the white flashes designed by one of the animators.

This effect brings a frantic style to the impacts, and it will be integrated into the game to make the scenes far more dynamic and engaging.

In parallel, we worked on Karen, Grace, and Maria, first focusing on stabilizing their rigs so the animations would be easier to handle and more fluid once they go into action.

Grace received notable upgrades in physics, details, and colors. Her model keeps the essence of her previous version, but now it’s sharper, cleaner, and absolutely ready for combat.

Maria also had updates with stronger rigs, while keeping her previous body proportions. Her muscles were given more definition, resulting in a powerful and elegant look.

Karen had the most significant redesign. She was made more robust, with her head size adjusted to fit her tall stature, giving her a more imposing presence. She’s now more than ready for animation.

We also tested a detailed preview of her body structure and physics, ensuring everything responds correctly once animation begins.

With all three of them ready, we can finally set them into action. Before they jump into battle, each one will also have a special animation with some toys.

Lighting tests were also key, highlighting the shine, isolating the character, and giving her a strong atmosphere.

The final result came out beautifully: more natural eye and mouth expressions, improved bounce and movement, integrated fluids made with grease pencil, and most importantly, a lighting setup that makes everything feel alive.
