New Rig, New FX, First X-Ray! Rumi’s Hottest Animation Yet (NSFW)

We’re entering the final phase of what might become one of the most beautifully crafted animations our team has ever created. Rumi’s lighting has been polished to a whole new level, we’re testing stylized 2D effects, and for the first time ever… a full X-ray scene is being integrated! This one's shaping up to be our most cinematic piece yet, packed with emotion, atmosphere, and raw sensuality.
We’ve been enhancing Rumi’s rig with new breast physics and other subtle body tweaks that make her movement feel more fluid and lifelike.
You’ll see this in a new walking animation, nearly final, where every sway and flicker feels natural.
We gave the animation a bit more room to breathe — the moment where Rumi appears now includes a soft nose movement and refined texture work, especially on her face and hair.
Her look is now even closer to one of her official illustrations, and the results are stunning.
The lighting style has been adjusted to match the dynamic tone of the film, ensuring that all scenes blend smoothly and flow seamlessly into each other.
There’s even a new experimental test with cinematic filters, enhanced camera effects, and production-level lighting touches to elevate the atmosphere.
We also created an expression book just for Rumi: a future reference tool to further expand his emotional range or even that of other characters.
We adjusted the light reflections in her eyes to better convey emotion, and added early 2D VFX drafts to explore potential accents throughout the piece.
The X-ray animation is a major step: We reworked the system to feel more organic, yet kept the stylized, “cartoonishly real” vibe. 
There's also a film-inspired moment with the hand shots, which is planned to be used in the animations.
It’s all coming together. Scene by scene, loop by loop, this project is reaching new artistic heights.
