Instruments update: Staples has failed me
Added 2019-08-01 19:27:00 +0000 UTCThe MOMENT I got the email saying the telescopes were ready, I started counting how many boxes I had for shipping. I was down to a bundle (25) and thus instantly ordered boxes from Staples. Now say what you will about Staples, they've treated me pretty good all things considered. I have ordered from them a LOT over my career as well for my own company. But this time... geez... this time they MAJORLY dropped the ball.
I placed an order July 19th (instruments where due to arrive the 25-28th and ship out August 1st).
Order was updated with a July 26th delivery date (close but still on time with everything else).
1 bundle of boxes was delivered the 26th...only this was for a smaller box needed to ship out more D20s (we're down to the final 50 orders of those heading out over the next week!)
3 bundles... not delivered. Called the 27th, they stated they messed up on my address and will forward it to the driver.
Contacted them the 29th and asked for a status, again they claimed they were updating the address for the driver and will have my boxes to me soon.
Contacted them again today (the 1st of August): Stated they see the note on my account but aren't sure why I haven't had anything delivered yet. So they are reordering the boxes for me and I should receive an email in the next 24 hrs with a new delivery date.
So for those of you who have ordered the mini & 17" telescopes, I'm sorry but there will be a minor delay. I will get them to you as soon as possible.
