LoJR Discussion Salon

Okay guys- just a head's-up, but we'll likely be discussing spoilers, or future character development; while my blurb here will be masked from public view, your comments won't: so let's establish a code for the characters!

Instead of Renamon, say "the new OC"
Instead of Jenny, say "Coco Bandicoot"
Bob = meatwagon
Galdon = Sonichu
Drudgegut = Slippy
Samus = Pumaman

Right- that's out of the way. Let's discuss some stuff. The arc I have in mind for this issue of LoJR is going to involve a still-drained Jenny and Renamon finding Samus' ship, but being chased out relatively quickly by the local wildlife (which smelled the blood she left behind). They're going to end up camping somewhere else for the night, where we'll have a flashback scene or two, which will prompt Jenny to confess her feelings towards Renamon. Make-outs and lady sex commence, until the mood is then ruined by Jenny having a mini-seizure, at which point they are discovered by a group of large, muscular barbarian-looking mammals.

(Meanwhile) Samus and company will probably have another scene or two left to them this issue: notably fighting the aforementioned big bad beastie that's taken up residence in Samus' ship, long after R and J have already left.  Well, at least Drudgegut, Galdon and Samus will fight. Bob will likely cower somewhere. I figure standing shoulder-to-shoulder with someone in a fight is the best way to get on Samus' good side, and reintroduce the fact that Galdon's a badass- despite being cold-cocked by Jenny earlier.

I also have an idea of Galdon, Drudge and Bob all huddled around a visibly grumpy Samus for warmth during the nighttime, but that'll be a one-panel gag thing I do later on to cock-block people in the middle of R&J's lesbianing.

ANYWAY.  That's literally all the thought I've put into this issue of the comic so far. I have the milestones figured out, but no real route planned. I figure the next page I start working on is gonna be back to Jenny and Renamon, approaching Samus' ship for the beastie encounter- unless anyone has another idea. (Also, I guess I need to figure out what beastie they're encountering: something from the StarFox Adventures roster, I guess? Which basically involves... what, the Firecrawler, the Kalda Chom... something ideally beastial, because Samus et al are going to be barbecueing it for food. I might have to make something less-stupid up. Dammit, Starfox Adventures. Be less dumb.)

So, yeah: lemme know what you guys think of the story for this issue, and if you see any changes or corners I might be writing myself into that I don't see yet. Samus, Bob, Drudge and Galdon will not catch up with them this issue though. That's for the next one.
