Appearance Familiar Presets
Added 2022-05-09 17:39:21 +0000 UTCWhat's better than a giant green frog with a buff following you around? A giant green frog that's really a black panther! There are several hundred Familiars to choose from, and some are, shall we say, easier on the eyes than others. We already have a Familiar Presets feature, but now patrons can select an Appearance Familiar that will be summoned along with each preset.
If you've been using Appearance Mount Presets, then you already know everything you need to know. Appearance Familiars follow the same setup rules as Mounts, including the -1 and -2 settings. There is some additional help on a [?] tooltip if you need a reminder in-game.
You might want to give two of your Familiar presets the same look, or you might want two similar-looking Familiars to appear completely different so you can tell which one you're using at a glance.
And remember you don't have to use the Character window controls to summon Familiars. You can create remote control macros that can go onto your Icon Bar or a hotkey.
Now if only we could do that little trick with Zhugrus Blightstrike!
