The Council of Watchers is a...morally dubious?...organization in practice, at least until the First wipes them out and the Scoobies have to rebuild it post S7. Yes, they help keep the world spinning by combating all the supernatural threats running around actively making messes of one size or another...but they do through the use of teenage girls empowered via symbiotic spiritual possession managed by social elites who frequently treat them like disposable tools, along with private hit squads. Building an army of Slayers could seem like a great idea to at least some of the Council hierarchy...but the others could the folly of gambling on the vast majority of activated Slayers being like Kendra vs. sharing Buffy's way of handling situations.

2025-03-17 07:49:22 +0000 UTCMakes sense. I mostly meant for himself. He'd have a much easier time of it if he can just endlessly double reflect everything. Though if he gave them a second mirror for reflection, they'd be able to do the same. Double sided makeup mirrors are fairly common and the girls could easily carry one around without anyone paying any attention to it.

2025-03-17 01:11:23 +0000 UTCNice to see Kendra still alive and Faith happy, healthy and with her mother figure watcher. With any luck they'll all profit greatly from the mirrors. Though it sounds like they'll end up with hundreds of slayers in the course of a couple years. Now I've been wondering since I first read this story about reflections inside reflections and how it worked for the cigarettes. Would that also work for the food there? If it's just reflecting it back to normal if used inside their mirror verses? If so they could get a whole lot of medical supplies, endless amounts of cash and food. Since all they'd have to do is reflect the stuff again. Far better than trying to sell gems and gold for cash as well if they just had to reflect massive piles of cash again to get the printing facing the right way.
