Today's Game Update

Several UI changes were published in today's Live update, "Toil and Trouble."
Quest Journal
- Completed quests have a new dropdown box for sorting, similar to active quests
- Mission timers can now be filtered by a partial name match. This filter stacks with the dropdown at the top of the timers page.
Marketplace
- The window can be resized vertically to show more items
A new button appears when you are viewing a previewable item. In my testing today the button does not always appear immediately -- you may need to click some other previewable items to get it to show up. When clicked, a Market Preview window appears. This new window also seems to have some trouble displaying the preview model, even with the default UI loaded, at least for me.
House Layouts
- When you pack up your house items into a Moving Crate, the game will now create a housing layout automatically prior to packing. The layout files are named Packing_Auto_Save-1628621930, where the long number at the end is a timestamp.
I'd love to see the layouts named with the character's name/server/house zone, but otherwise it's a nice idea as long as you keep track of which character created which layout. If you decide to reload the autosaved layout later, looking at the file's date stamp in Windows may be a better indicator of which file you need.
Dressing Room
- An interesting improvement surfaced with today's changes to the Marketplace window. Recently the DarqUI Dressing Room was modified to offer a more flexible 3D viewer for character models, which up until that time were fairly restrictive. Now if you load up your character in the Dressing Room you'll discover that you don't need to choose between Item Mode and Character Mode.
Viewing a character model in either mode will zoom with the scroll wheel, spin with the mouse horizontally, and raise/lower with the mouse vertically. This mirrors the native Item Mode behavior, and it may be an opportunity to remove the mode select button and the vertical slidebar which appears to be no longer necessary. I consider it a win any time we can actually reduce the size of the UI, even by a little bit.
There were a few other updates that involved the UI peripherally, and you can read about everything in the Community Manager's patch notes post.
