2025-01-30 04:42:24 +0000 UTCI used to go to Bullwinkle's as a kid. That place never bothered me. Chuck E Cheese though creeped me out. Something about the guy in the rat suit trying to offer kids food and drinks was always creepy to me. That and the idea of eating food or drinks in the presence of rats or mice should never be seen as hygienic or positive in any way. Not sure when the Five Nights at Freddy's style idea of animatronics came around. Maybe it was back when the Chucky movies first came out. Either way, wasn't something I remember ever hearing about when growing up. Seems more common now though, probably due to all the talking and moving toys that exist now versus 30-40 years ago when those movies first came out. Was nice to see everyone realize they've been bad friends and try to make amends to it. At least Oz trying. Though I never really felt like he was a friend to anyone there. He was more Willow's boyfriend and barely ever came off as a friend to anyone else there. At least he made the first attempt to be a friend to Xander. So maybe the others can start to try to work on their friendships as well. Since they pretty much stopped seeing Xander as a friend and started just seeing him as a gofer or hindrance, depending on the day as the series progressed.

2025-01-30 01:08:40 +0000 UTCI'm of two minds about Xander and Oz's interactions with Mxy... it was a very enjoyable scene, and I'm sure their new power to pull a Jesus and never rum out of food will come in handy soon enough, I'm a tad bit disappointed they didn't try messing with Mxy a bit before playing straight. Especially by acting like Mxy had them on the hook for monkey paw wishes or a life lesson, then revealing their upstanding moral characters. What I really liked - full stop - is Xander & Oz's perfunctory-but-deep bonding session where they clear the air over the Fluke and bury the hatchet without any male ego stroking.

First, she's typically close to Wonder Woman or Kryptonians in power levels. Second, is there any super as happy and friendly as she is? You almost wouldn't need the 'everyone get along' compulsions, the possibility of making her sad would keep everyone in line. Third, she might be one heck of a practical joker or troll. Teleporters, now you can't get away from your ex...... ever! (Super X-Girlfriend anyone) Someone once set two Furbies facing each other on a table, they talked to each other until the batteries drained. It was creeeepyyy.
