A few items of interest

Hail, Patrons!  First I want to thank you for being an early adopter and joining us here on the Darq Side.  It's my intention for you to be delighted with all aspects of DarqUI, including the resources on this site.  Tips of the Week and Tips of the Day are in good shape, but there are five long-form "In-depth" tutorials that are not here yet.  They are being reworked due to a format change between the Spring when they were first recorded, and now.  Stay tuned ;)

Let me tell you about a couple of small features that are exclusive to Patrons -- one in the utility and one in the game UI.  If you use the frameless windowed mode found on the Settings page of the utility, you will see that your version is a bit enhanced.  Instead of having just one metric setting for window size and position, you can create and save multiple metrics and switch between them at any time.  For example if you have multiple monitors you can use two metric settings to quickly move the game window from one screen to another.  Or in my case I have one metric that is smaller than the entire screen for making Darq Side videos, but then I use the default full screen windowed setting when playing EQII.

In the game UI there is a small extra convenience feature in the Target Alerts area on the Extended Player window.  You have an extra "Seek" button that will automatically search for targets instead of having to tab repeatedly.  It's a bit like the Harvesting Helper since it more or less hits the tab key for you automatically.  There's a video about the Extended Player window that will explain it all in full detail (soon), but the feature should be fairly self-explanatory if you want to experiment with it.  If you don't see the extra control, check for updates and you should see a new version of the Window Manager to download.

And finally, just a reminder:  If you want to be credited as a Patron in the UI, drop me a note here with the character and server that you want displayed if you have not already done so.  To see what it looks like, there is a DarqUI Credits tab in the Help window that can be seen by all DarqUI users -- Patrons and non-Patrons alike.  If you don't want to be credited, that's fine too.
