This yusho belongs to Takerufuji. I’m calling it.

SP Bizzy

Damn hope he's okay

Sean Williams

Bulldozer sumo!

Raymond Sosnowski

Not a professional per se but I work with a lot of sports injuries and that looks like a possible fibular subluxation. He landed hard on the outside of his calf with his knee in full medial rotation. Extremely painful but usually not a long term injury unless he tore a ligament when he did it.

Stephen Nering

Looks like his ankle gave out right before he went down

Johannes

I'm optimistic.. I didn't see any real twisting of the knee that would pop ligaments. I'm not a doctor or anything lol. I absolutely hate seeing knee injuries. And the fact that sumo pretty.much forces them to not heal appropriately because of the pressure to not drop

Scott Gordon

For sure he has.. I'm happy for him too. I forget how old he is? Maybe only 30? But by getting out early enough maybe he can have decently long life. I was always worried about his heart health

Scott Gordon

Is it me or does it look like Takakeisho has lost some weight

King Rama

Bummer to see, I wish the best for Kitanowaka and hope he recovers ASAP!

Grant Baxter

My eyes were glued to Azumazeki Oyakata (ex-Takamisakari) and his expressions. Hope Kitanowaka recovers
