2025-01-13 01:28:31 +0000 UTCI hope that was just ring rust and not another injury on Terunofuji's part. I'd like to see him stay in the basho and perform well. Wakatakakage deserves a lot of credit for being on his figurative toes, sensing an opportunity, and taking it. He won that match as much or more than Teru lost it. Since coming back from his torn ACL, WTK has been showing up for work mentally on day 1 rather than checking in mid-week. If he can continue his strong starts and not dig himself into holes that he then has to get out of, he could make a real Ozeki run. He has always had the strength and skill to compete with the best.
