A friend of mine has made several short films that have gone to several film festivals including Cannes and even one in Tokyo last year and we are from a small city in New Zealand, I know of one youtuber who did a kickstarter to make a film so if that's something you want to do I'm sure a lot of you followers would want to be a part of it.
