Plans For The Next Few Months

Now that it's August, I've been thinking about what I want to do for the remainder of the year, in terms of art. I figured I'd share this all with you guys while everything's in the rough planning stages before solidifying them. 

September is going to be focused on working on a project I've put off for an entire year ^^; I was invited to guest on sexual education comic series "Oh Joy Sex Toy". The concept and rough skeleton of what I want to do is done but I have yet to get thumbnails and actual drawing done. I think with that offer on top of being nominated as a GoH at two cons last year really added to my work schedule, with having to hit due dates for the cons and constantly doing art each month for them. Now that all the work is done though, and the work I have going for me right now is just commission and patreon stuff, I can finally go back to actually working on this again. So. I'm making it a hard deadline now to get the comic finished by the end of September, and hopefully it'll be released to the public a few months after that too (depending on the queue they already have going..I'm sure it's built up since then,  but they were very ok with me getting it done whenever) Of course, $5+ patrons will get to see all the rough work and final pages in advance (Sorry $3 patrons, it'll be a 18+ themed comic for sure lol) I think this is beneficial though cause I do feel like I've grown, artistically again (just a bit!) over the year, so it'll be more rewarding to work on it and see it finished (:

Come September I also plan to switch back to a weekly stream schedule taking place every Monday at 8PM EST instead of every other Monday. I mainly switched from weekly to biweekly because of summer approaching and with the con prep that was intended for me. But since the pandemic put all of that on a halt, I never went back to weekly, just sort of stuck with it. But now the summer is ending, I'd like to go back to doing weekly streams to keep myself busy. 

Regular commission opening will take place so I can pay the billz, I'll also probably do another mask order that month too. Unsure if I'll do new designs, I might just do another run of reorders, but we'll see! Maybe I'll throw in two new designs that are halloween themed :B 

October I don't have much planned. Last year I did a drawtober event where I did a full illustration for those that commissioned one each day that ended up being compiled into a book. This year I'm taking a break since that was...a lot LOL. I'm proud of myself for doing it but as clearly seen, I didn't get to finish all 31 days. Nevertheless, I'll still be taking commissions that month and doing weekly streams, so plenty of opportunities to get some spooky art from me, if your heart desires! 

Regular commission opening will take place, and I may do another mask order run too. Again, unsure if I'll do new designs for it or just a reorder, but if there's new ones, I'll make them winter/holiday themed :B

November, however, I do have something in the works planned! I'll have a regular commission opening that month, as usual, but a week after I open for commissions, I'll be opening up slots for an event I'll be doing in December. Nicnak's Naughty and Nice collection ;D I don't want to spoil too much about it yet, but at the beginning of November I'll have a preview for patrons for what they can expect and how they can take part! During November I also like to take names from patrons that want holiday cards mailed to them, so I'll have a post for that sometime that month too. Cards mailed at the end of the month to ensure everyone gets them before the holidays. 

December, as mentioned, will be focused on the event art I'll be creating, and this will be the first month in a LONG time that I will NOT be opening for commissions. Weekly streams, however, will still be a go, and I may open a couple slots for those that want their sketches upgraded to full colour illustrations.

- Holiday card form opens for patrons

And I think that's all I have planned for the remainder of this year! Basically stuff to look forward to each month. They've been swimming around in my head lately, so I figured I should note em down!

Should I mix up the days? Feel free to express any thoughts you all have below as I'm still getting these plans all together.
