Most people don't actually know much about Celtic mythology compared to Norse, Greek, Egyptian or Asian myths. So I wanted to ask what are the kinds of myths, fables, folklore or fairy tales you like.
What are some of your favorite fantasy stories movies or video games.
Do you like hard magic systems or soft magic systems.

Baldurs Gate 1/2 are the gold standard for me. The first is a softer "basically a DnD campaign but in video game form" and manages to be fun and humerous but still tell a serious story. The second is much flashier and brings everything up to 11.

Often there are specific rules surrounding its use outlined by the culture at large or a governing magical society. There is a clear cost in the use of this magic to the user. The energy must come from somewhere. Soft magic, the magic is more mysterious and unpredictable. the main character usually isn’t a magic user. This way they are allowed to experience the wonder of the magic, without worrying about the details or costs of creating it.
