Added 2023-07-11 20:36:44 +0000 UTCA quick series of heavily 'chibified' Cinders (Among weird notes, ignore those). I desperately needed something bright in my day, and these are fun to do. Little slices of her life, from the fiendish unleashing of butterflies to quietly waiting for autumn to arrive.
Strangely enough, I've been noticing that some trees here are.. shedding a tiny amount of yellow leaves... It's highly strange for this to happen in the first part of July, which has me worried that many of these trees might have some sort of affliction, though it doesn't seem to have the epidemic effect that such things normally would.
It's not due to dry weather, as we've had a fairly temperate Summer, and a fair amount of rain. Very odd to see yellow leaves starting to appear on neighborhood lawns though.
Visions of brighter days, hopefully to come.

There will definitely be more of her down the line. She's that little spark of 'happy' that I have these days that I don't want to let go of. I've been pondering if the early leaves turning might be due to the months long haze and smoke we've had for most of the summer. This year has been just constant wildfires around us, and I can't recall the last 'fair' air quality day we've had. It could just be a 'stress' that some trees are hitting lately. I just hope enough of them keep their leaves around for autumn. :)

And I can understand the concern of the wilderness and trees not behaving as they are supposed to. Nature is supposed to be reliable in what it does each season. Hope it is a fluke and nothing truly bad.
