Another sketch image, I know, but I admittedly love these two idiots. Wraethos (The taller Ithskaari) and Eilyrja (The bold-bold) as a bit of a 'tall' comparison. I used a freebie height ruler for CSP, with Wraethos standing at 6'7" tall, and Eilyrja standing at 3' (Which is fairly standard for kobolds in 'Wroth).
Despite his size, Wraethos is the less 'combaty' kind of person, as he's an arcanist graduate of both the Wyrmythir academy Decymintar and the Andormir Academy Khivesk. Eilyrja was a servant for him until circumstances caused the pair to need to flee the Decymintar core and make their way out to Khivesk instead. As a fighter, Eilyrja is surprisingly effective, preferring lighter leathers to let her dodge around opponents and hack knees off.
They both tend to land themselves in trouble. Wraethos because he doesn't know how to socially interact with people without his high-born 'draconic' personality coming through, and Eilyrja because she tends to hit first and ask for explanation later.
I should have some flat colours of the next larger painting coming up at some point. I'll also be sending out the last few notices for patron sketches before the list 'renews' and starts again. Please note: I send these notices to e-mail mainly, as well as to FA-Notes if people there have indicated that they can be contacted through there. So be sure to periodically check spam filters just in case. I've had a few people not reply when I sent a notice a while back, and I'd really like to make sure folks at the $10 tier get at least one illustration for their trouble. (Hell, I wish I could do this for every tier. But I haven't been able to clone myself just yet).
Lastly I should have the basic structure of a commission guide up in the next week. I've had to refine things and checked out dozens of other people who take commissions to get the prices right, as well as the 'tiers' that are common right too. It's surprisingly a lot of research when you've been out of the commissions game for what.. nearly a decade now?
Well that just made me feel old.
Anyway, more to come in the following week.
