Wolves go woof.
The next image I'll be doing is also a wolf, its actually a patron sketch from a couple months back now. Some tweaks, and then I'll get to inking.
Its likely the next batch of images might be a bit rough. I'm still getting back into the swing of drawing again.
Not to go into a lot of depth here, but my time as a caregiver is now coming to a close. My father is at the point where he needs to have medical supervision I can't give him anymore, and I'm working with his medical team to figure out what that's going to look like as long term care.
I admit that for a couple days after he had to go into the hospital this last time I flipped between feeling very numb and not processing, to falling apart completely. It was to be expected, but we always think we have more time than we do.
After taking a few days to literally do nothing but rest, something I haven't done in years now, I'm ready to start getting a routine together. That routine is going to involve doing some art at least 5 days a week. It doesn't have to be fully finished, it can be anything really, but the point is to have a routine as I find _not_ having one to be very strange. My whole life since 2012 has been on a routine.
It's a strange feeling to not have to rush through art. In the last year I felt like I had to cram as much creative time into 30 minute chunks that It started to burn me. My whole focus was on my father's health needs that I couldn't see anything beyond it. Now I'm able to finally have a moment to breathe again. I'm working on not feeling guilty about that.
Until the next time. Keep woofing.
