Tired (final)
Added 2021-07-19 21:58:46 +0000 UTCI wanted to go with a more illustrative style for this one. Something with lines left in that make their own 'texture'. I'm not good at stopping at stages like this. I tend to try and overwork it and end up just spending a week painting something, but I liked the 'rougher' look of this that still conveys the time of day.
I had a write-up on Berrand to post along with this, sadly I ended up closing the file and.. it didn't save since I'd added to it. I'll end up re-writing and posting after the sting of losing all that info wears off I'm sure.

I've become a big fan of leaving some of those rougher lines in -- you've already got them and they tend to liven up a piece rather than muddy it. Love the moody atmosphere in the final product and, well, maybe someday we'll get that write-up again??
