Last Leaves of Autumn - Patron Sketch (Oct)

While early autumn and Halloween tend to make me want to draw all sorts of Helsing-esque things from that time period, there's something about the later autumn that just makes me want to draw wolves.

And leaves, of course.

This time the fates lined up perfectly, as It was suggested by Smokepaw that I draw his character Pihko Misit for his spot on the sketch-list. An image of him making one last trek to a trade-meet before the snows of the deepening autumn leading to winter started to fall. A moment of tranquility amidst the last leaves before a fire pit is made, and a night along the trail is spent.

I was given kind permission to share a version of the picture here. I hope folks had a good Halloween (mine was basically a fever dream, as I'm sick with yet another flu, but I do remember having a cat sitting on my feet). And here's hoping for a peaceful wind-down to the rest of the year.

I'll likely have a couple coloured versions of the linework from last month to post as well in the near future. It'll let me stay in autumn for a little while longer even though there is snow on the ground here now.
