Greetings, I'm back from the wonderful city of Chicago. If you follow me on Insterflam I'm sure you'll see some city and brewery pictures over the next week.
Pictured above is Pac-Man Entertainment, an arcade bar and bowling alley in the Chicago suburbs. Me and a group of college chums visited on Friday night and it was dead as a ghost that had been re-eaten by Pac-Man.
This is a shame because we had an awesome time, but I dunno maybe there's better local options (not being a native I'm not sure.) It was good to have the place pretty much to ourselves, but if you live near Chicago you should check it out. $20 on a card bought me (and a bunch of other people) a pile of arcade gameplay and pinball machines (and a $5 bonus.) Arcade games were 25 cents!
They have a sweet arcade corner, a collection of Pac-Man machines, and a row of modern pinball games. The bar was sufficient and stocked with acceptable and predictably overpriced beers, but it did the job.
There's also bowling and a room filled with terrible redemption machines, but anyway. Xevious, Pac-Man, Super Pac, QBert and more warrants a mention here.
Enjoy my pics! See you soon with new art and book updates, been a busy few weeks so haven't had much in the way of finished work lately. Working on that stuff today and back in the office,
Mark
